What is happening?

THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
ST JOHNS GROVE (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:- St Johns Grove, from the junction of Hilston Grove to 176 St Johns Grove, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during drainage connection works into an existing manhole located on St Johns Grove.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will take effect on 6th March 2023, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 14 days.
