The Bexley (Welling Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2023
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above-mentioned Traffic Order under sections 6,45,46,49 and 124 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Abbey Wood) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -
- Overton Road, Abbey Wood - to convert the existing 'free' parking places outside of the below locations to 'residents permit parking places' (operating Monday - Friday 11.00am -1.00pm)
a) Outside Nos. 88, 92 and 106 Overton Road, Abbey Wood
b) Outside Nos. 97 and 101 Overton Road, Abbey Wood
3. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -
- Burr Close, Bexleyheath: - to install a new 'residents permit parking place' (operating Monday - Friday 10.00am - 1.00pm) opposite Nos. 23-26 Burr Close.
- Fairfield Road, Bexleyheath: - to convert the existing 'free' parking place outside of No 18/20 Fairfield Road to a 'residents permit parking place' (operating Monday - Friday 10.00am -1.00pm).
4. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Town Centre) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -
- Abbey Road, Bexleyheath: - to convert the existing 'business permit parking place' on the eastern kerb-line of Abbey Road with its junction with Ethronvi Road to a shared 'resident or business permit parking place' (operating Monday - Saturday 8.30am - 5.30pm),
5. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Crayford Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -
- Dale Road, Crayford: - to convert part of the existing 'free' parking place' outside of Nos. 43 -53 Dale Road to 'residents permit parking place' (operating Monday - Friday 9.00am -11.00am).
- Ridge Avenue, Crayford: - to convert the existing 'free' parking place adjacent to No. 34 Dale Road to 'residents permit parking place' (operating Monday - Friday 9.00am - 11.00am).
- Station Road, Crayford: - to convert the existing 'free' parking place outside of No. 75 Station Road to a 'residents permit parking place' (operating Monday- Friday 9.00am - 11.00am).
6. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -
- Aston Close, Sidcup: - to convert part of the existing 'free' parkin place outside of Nos. I - 12 Aston Close to a 'residents permit parking place' (operating Monday - Friday 1,00pm -3.00pm).
- Crescent Road, Sidcup: - to convert the existing 'free' parking place outside of No. 41 Crescent Road Sidcup to a 'residents permit parking place' (operating Monday - Friday 1.00pm - 3.00pm).
7. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup Town Centre) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -
- Hatherley Road, Sidcup: - to convert part of the existing 'free' parking place outside of Nos. 12-8 Hatheriey Road to a 'business or residents permit parking place' (operating Monday -Saturday 9.00am - 5.30pm).
- Hatherley Road, Sidcup: - to extend the existing 'free' parking place outside of No. 10 Hatheriey Road (operating Monday - Saturday 9.00am - 5.30pm).
8. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Welling Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -
- Bellegrove Road, Welling: - to extend the existing 'Pay & Display or Pay by Phone 2 hours no return within I hour' parking place outside of No. 53 Bellegrove Road (operating Monday -Saturday 8.00am-6.30pm).
There are no physical changes on street.
- Marne Avenue, Welling: - to convert the existing 'free' parking place opposite Nos. 3-7 Marne Avenue to a 'residents permit parking place' (operating Monday - Friday 1.00pm -3.00pm).
9. Copies of the proposed Order, the corresponding Parent Order (and any Orders that have amended that Order), the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, and maps which indicates the length of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

10. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the day on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court
