Seagrave Avenue & Quarry Drive - Temporary Road Closure To Carriageway Patching Works

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(SEAGRAVE AVENUE AND QUARRY DRIVE, KIRKBY IN ASHFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONS) ORDER 2023 (A23-018)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Kirkby in Ashfield in the District of Ashfield.
The effects of the Order will be:

1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of roads as listed in paragraph 3.

2. Vehicles are prohibited from Waiting, Loading and Unloading (Both Sides, 08:00-15:30) in the following length of roads as listed in paragraph 3.

3. Seagrave Avenue - From its junction with Derby Road, in an easterly direction for 195 metres.

Quarry Drive - From its junction with Central Avenue for its full length.

4. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.

5. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:

From 08:00 hours on Monday 13th February 2023 Until 15:30 hours on Thursday 23rd February 2023 inclusive.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
No Alternative route available, Dead-End Roads.

The Order will come into force on 13th February 2023 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).

The prohibition is required to enable VIA East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to carry out carriageway Patching works.
