Manchester - Multiple Traffic Notices

Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council made the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The title and affect of the Orders will be as follows City Of Manchester (Toxteth Street, Manchester) (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting And No Loading) Order 2022 Proposed No Waiting At Any Time on: 
Fairfield Rd - SE side from its junction with Silverlace Ave to its junction with Toxteth St. 

Ashton Old Rd - the north side from its junction with Fairfield Road to its junction with Beck Street. the north side from its junction with Beck Street in an easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres. No Loading At Any Time on: 

Fairfield Rd - the south-east side from its junction with Silverlace Avenue in a south westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres. the south-east side from its junction with Toxteth Street in a south westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres. the south-east side from its junction with Toxteth Street in a north easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

Fairfield Rd - SE side from its junction with Ashton Old Rd to a point 10m SE of its junction with Toxteth St. SE side from a point 10m SW of its junction with Silverlace Ave to a point 10m NE of its junction with Toxteth St. City Of Manchester (Bradford) (20MPH Speed Limit And Amendment) Order 2015 (Amendment No.1) Order 2022 The effect of the above Order will be to introduce 20 mph speed limit on Aniline Street for its entire length. Existing Orders have been amended to be consistent with the proposals. The Order will come into operation on the 8th February 2023. 

A copy of the made Order, together with the plans may be inspected at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from 3rd February 2023 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
