PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 9th February 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 53, HANSLOPE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 7th February 2023 made an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit any access to and along parts of Footpath 53 Hanslope adjacent to malt Mill Farm. In the interest of public safety and to enable development works to be undertaken.
The closures will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the TSRGD 2016 (The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016).
The temporary closure Order will come into effect on 10th February 2023 and will expire on 10th August 2023 and will only take effect at times during the above period only when required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any restriction.
Any person committing a breach of the proposed order will be liable upon prosecution to such fine as is prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 9th February 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS FOOTPATHS, HANSLOPE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 7th February 2023 made an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Its effect will be to temporarily prohibit any access to and along various footpaths in Hanslope, as shown below:
No person shall cause or permit any access to and along the following lengths of footpath: -
• Footpath 01, Hanslope – for approximately 124 meters.
• Footpath 060, Hanslope – From its junction with Footpath 61 to its junction with Footpath 59.
• Footpath 061, Hanslope – for approximately 141 meters
Whilst the footpaths are closed there will be no alternative route.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary footpath closure Order is necessary to ensure the safety of the public whilst construction of a new residential development is undertaken.
The temporary closure Order will come into effect on 14th February 2023 and will expire on 14th August 2023 and will only take effect at times during the above period only when required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any restriction.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order.
The closures will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the TSRGD 2016 (The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016).
Any person committing a breach of the proposed order will be liable upon prosecution to such fine as is prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 9th February 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (LITTLE LINFORD LANE (PART), NEWPORT PAGNELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 7th February 2023 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along Little Linford Lane, Newport Pagnell from outside dovecote lakes to approximately 500m southeast, outside depot. To allow for new telecoms pole to be installed.
The above closure will come into effect between 14th February 2023 (Between 9:00am and 4:00pm).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route (diversion route) will be via Haversham Road, Newport Road, Northampton Road, High Street, Wolverton Road (and vice versa).

The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway. The temporary Order will come into effect on 14th February 2023 and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order except for emergency service vehicles on operational duties.
The closures will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the TSRGD 2016 (The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016). All affected properties will be notified of the forthcoming closures at least one week prior to the works taking place.
Any person committing a breach of the order will be liable upon prosecution to such fine as is prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 9th February 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 7th February 2023 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the lengths of carriageway detailed below in Bletchley. These closures are necessary to enable SMOPS to carry out excavations and the subsequent installation of cable.
13th February (7pm) – 14th February (6am) 2023
Denbigh Road, Bletchley – Its spur leading to and from Granby Roundabout.
Whilst that part of the road is closed the alternative route will be via Watling Street, Sinclair Court and Denbigh Road (Vice Versa).
14th February – 24th February 2023
Sinclair Court, Denbigh Road, Bletchley (southbound carriageway closure) – From its spur to Watling Street to its junction with Centurion Roundabout.
Whilst that part of the road is closed the alternative route will be via Watling Street, Bletcham Way and northbound on Denbigh Road/Sinclair Court.
19th February (4pm) – 20th February (6am) 2023 and 20th February (8pm) – 21st February (6am) 2023
Centurion Roundabout, Bletchley
Whilst the above carriageway is closed the alternative route will be via Bletcham Way, Denbigh Roundabout, B4034 and Watling Street.
The Order will come into effect on 13th February 2023 and will remain in effect for a period of 12 months and will only take effect at times during the above period only when works are required.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order except for emergency service vehicles on operational duties.
The closures will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the TSRGD 2016 (The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016). All affected properties will be notified of the forthcoming closures at least one week prior to the works taking place.
Any person committing a breach of the order will be liable upon prosecution to such fine as is prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
The following statutory notice of Intent is hereby served on 9th February 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOLLY LANE, NORTH CRAWLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along Folly Lane, North Crawley to enable Openreach to install a new Telegraph Pole.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
Folly Lane, North Crawley – From outside number 25b to approximately 70m south of number 40.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Brook End, North Crawley Road, A509 London Road, Moulsoe Road, Newport Road, Cranfield Road, Folly Lane, College Road, Crawley Road, High Street (Vice Versa).
The above closure will come into effect on 22nd February 2023 (Between 9:00am and 4:30pm).

PUBLIC NOTICE 6:
The following statutory notice of proposal is hereby served on 9th February 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PROPOSED CONTROLLED ZEBRA CROSSING) (SOUTH TERRACE, BLETCHLEY) 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council proposes to establish a controlled pedestrian crossing under Section 23(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act). The type of crossing will be a ‘zebra pedestrian crossing’, the construction of which will be carried out in accordance with the manner prescribed by regulations under section 25 of the Act. The proposed crossing will be located on South Terrace in Bletchley.
The centre point of the crossing will be from a point 32 metres east of its junction with Saxon Street. The crossing will extend for a distance of 42 (including both sections of white zig-zag lining). The crossing will extend across the whole width of the carriageway (3.7 metres).
The pedestrian zebra crossing was proposed during the planning approval stage and approved by the planning authority to make a safe crossing link for pedestrians between the new development and the Bletchley Bus Station.
The proposed zebra crossing will encourage and facilitate safer pedestrian and cyclist movement across South Terrace.
Milton Keynes City Council The Council is now serving formal notification on the proposed zebra crossing and copies of the statement of reason and a plan showing the location of the crossing may be inspected on the Council’s website at: www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/consultations.

PUBLIC NOTICE 7:
The following statutory notice of proposal is hereby served on 9th February 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES) (VARIOUS ROADS, MILTON KEYNES) (BUS, TAXI AND PEDAL CYCLE LANES) ORDER 2021) VARIATION ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order, under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3) and 4(1), and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce bus, taxis and cycle lanes along Barrosa Way in Whitehouse Park.
The proposed bus, taxis and cycle lanes come as a result of the continuous improvements being made to public transport in The Borough of Milton Keynes and will ensure equality for all users, encourage modal shift to more sustainable modes of transport, maintain economic vitality and reduce carbon emissions, all in line with the aims and objectives of The Borough of Milton Keynes Transport Strategy
The Council will continue to monitor the way in which highway facilities are used and address any issues that come to its notice and following meaningful consultation with all stakeholders do what it considers necessary to facilitate the expeditious, convenient, and safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Milton Keynes Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the above proposal. Details on how to comment and of the proposed Order, together with plans showing the general arrangements and a statement of reason, may be inspected on the Council’s website at: www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/consultations.
