Temporary Closing Of Byway Open To All Traffic Shenley 33

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horseriders, cyclists and vehicles from using that length of Byway Open to All Traffic Shenley 33, south of junction with Rectory Lane, for an approximate distance of 30m.

Alternative route: no suitable alternative

The purpose of the Order is to enable utilities works to take place.

The section of Byway Open to All Traffic will be closed on or after 08 February

2023 for up to 1 day, when signs are in place.

(Temporary Closing And Temporary Waiting Restrictions In Garston Park Parade, Watford) Order 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Garston Park Parade, Watford from its junction with Garston Lane north eastwards, north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 147m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Garston Lane and A412 St Albans Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 February 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (Temporary Closing Of Masefield Avenue, Borehamwood) Order 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Masefield Avenue, Borehamwood from a point in line with the north eastern boundary of No.11 Masefield Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Masefield Avenue, Furzehill Road, Milton Drive, Vale Avenue and Masefield Avenue.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 February 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (Temporary Closing Of Lower Paddock Road, Watford) Order 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Lower Paddock Road, Watford from its junction with Villiers Road eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Rowley Close, a distance of approximately 96m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Villiers Road, A411 Chalk Hills, King Edward Road, Field Road and Lower Paddock Road. The Order is needed because electricity supply works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 February 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (Temporary Closing Of Chequers Lane, Abbots Langley) Order 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Chequers Lane, Abbots Langley from a point in line with the western boundary of 'Trotsdem' south eastwards for a distance of approximately 285m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Chequers Lane, Woodside Road, College Road, Horseshoe Lane, A405 St Albans Road and Chequers Lane or via A405 (St Albans Road/North Orbital Road), the M25 roundabout, A405 (North Orbital Road/St Albans Road), Horseshoe Lane, College Road, Woodside Road and Chequers Lane.

The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing telephone pole is proposed to be executed near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 February 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. (Temporary Closing Of Dawes Lane, Sarratt) Order 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dawes Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Wards Drive north eastwards to its junction with The Green, a distance of approximately 450m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Dawes Lane, Moor Lane and The Green. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 February 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A4178 Wiggenhall Road, Watford from a point in line with the north western boundary of No.26 Wiggenhall Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 28m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A4178 (Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road/ Fearnley Street/ The Hornets/Merton Road), A4145 Vicarage Road, A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove/Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/Dalton Way), Thomas Sawyer Way and A4178 Wiggenhall Road or via A4178 Wiggenhall Road, Thomas Sawyer Way, A411 (Dalton Way/Waterfields Way/ Beechen Grove/Exchange Road), A4145 Vicarage Road and A4178 Wiggenhall Road.

The Order is needed because sewer cleaning works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 19 February 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. (Temporary Traffic Management Measures On Various Roads In Watford) Order 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Roads, except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

a) that length of Acme Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

b) that length of Addiscombe Road, Watford from its junction with Fearnley Street north westwards to its junction with Whippendell Road, a distance of approximately 183m.

An alternative route will be via Fearnley Street, A4178 (The Hornets/Merton Road/Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road), A4145 (Vicarage Road/Hagden Lane), Queens Avenue and Whippendell Road.

c) that length of Ashby Road, Watford from its junction with Gammons Lane south westwards to its junction with Sussex Road, a distance of approximately 222m.

An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane, Brighton Road and Sussex Road.

d) that length of Brixton Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

e) that length of Bruce Grove, Watford from its junction with Bradshaw Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 157m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

f) that length of Caxton Way, Watford from its northernmost junction with Greenhill Crescent south westwards, north westwards, south eastwards, eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via Greenhill Crescent.

g) that length of Clive Way, Watford from its junction with Colonial Way south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

h) that length of Copsewood Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Stanmore Road, a distance of approximately 241m.

An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road and Stanmore Road.

i) that length of Durban Road East, Watford from its junction with Whippendell Road south eastwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via Whippendell Road, Queens Avenue, A4145

Hagden Lane, Benskin Road, Harwoods Road and Chester Road or via

Whippendell Road, Addiscombe Road and Chester Road.

j) that length of Durban Road West, Watford from its junction with Mildred

Avenue eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Whippendell

Road, a distance of approximately 324m.

An alternative route will be via Mildred Avenue, Park Avenue and

Whippendell Road.

k) that length of Faraday Close, Watford from its junction with Greenhill Crescent south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

l) that length of Field End Close, Watford from its junction with Upper Paddock Road south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 115m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

m) that length of Garfield Street, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards to its junction with Milton Street, a distance of approximately 154m.

An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Shakespeare Street and Milton Street.

n) that length of Grover Road, Watford from its junction with A4008 Pinner Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Oxhey Avenue, a distance of approximately 308m. An alternative route will be via A4008 Pinner Road and Oxhey Avenue.

o) that length of Hatfield Road, Watford from its junction with Bradshaw Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 148m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

p) that length of Kensington Avenue, Watford from its junction with Queens Avenue north eastwards to its junction with Harwoods Road, a distance of approximately 326m.

An alternative route will be via Queens Avenue, Whippendell Road and Harwoods Road.

q) that length of Kings Avenue, Watford from its junction with Harwoods Road south westwards to its junction with Queens Avenue, a distance of approximately 332m.

An alternative route will be via Harwoods Road, Whippendell Road and Queens Avenue.

r) that length of Lower Paddock Road, Watford from its junction with Villiers Road south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Upper Paddock Road, a distance of approximately 424m.

An alternative route will be via Villiers Road and Upper Paddock Road.

s) that length of Longspring, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south westwards to its junction with Leavesden Road, a distance of approximately 654m.

An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road and Leavesden Road

or via Leavesden Road, Lowestoft Road and A412 St Albans Road.

t) that length of Lowestoft Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden

Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with A412 St Albans

Road, a distance of approximately 144m.

An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Cecil Street and A412 St Albans Road.

u) that length of Maude Crescent, Watford from its junction with St Georges Road south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

v) that length of Milton Street, Watford from its junction with Shakespeare Street south eastwards to its junction with Stanmore Road, a distance of approximately 211m.

An alternative route will be via Shakespeare Street, Leavesden Road, Lowestoft Road, A412 St Albans Road, Leavesden Road and Stanmore Road or via Stanmore Road, Leavesden Road and Shakespeare Street.

w) that length of Park Avenue, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Whippendell Road, a distance of approximately 308m. An alternative route will be via A412 Rickmansworth Road, Harwoods Road and Whippendell Road.

x) that length of Parker Street, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards to its junction with Milton Street, a distance of approximately 144m.

An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Garfield Street and Milton Street.

y) that length of Percy Road, Watford from its junction with Francis Road south eastwards to its junction with Market Street, a distance of approximately 147m.

An alternative route will be via Francis Road, Marlborough Road, A4178 (Cassio Road/Merton Road), A4145 Vicarage Road, A411 Exchange Road and Market Street.

z) that length of Pretoria Road, Watford from its junction with Chester Road south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Durban Road East, a distance of approximately 163m.

An alternative route will be via Chester Road and Durban Road East or via Durban Road East, Whippendell Road, Queens Avenue, A4145 Hagden Lane, Benskin Road, Harwoods Road and Chester Road. aa) that length of Princes Avenue, Watford from its junction with Queens Avenue north eastwards to its junction with Harwoods Road, a distance of approximately 329m.

An alternative route will be via Queens Avenue, Whippendell Road and Harwoods Road.

bb) that length of Princes Avenue, Watford from its junction with Queens Avenue north westwards to its junction with Hagden Lane, a distance of approximately 190m.

An alternative route will be via Queens Avenue, Mildred Avenue and Hagden Lane.

cc) that length of Queens Road, Watford from its junction with Woodford Road south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Queens Road The Broadway, a distance of approximately 390m. An alternative route will be via St Johns Road, Woodford Road, Clarendon Road, A411 Beechen Grove, Loates Lane, Lord Street and Queens Road The Broadway.

dd) that length of Loates Lane, Watford from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove north eastwards to its junction with Lord Street, a distance of approximately 56m.

An alternative route will be via A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), Clarendon Road, St Johns Road, Queens Road and Loates Lane.

ee) that length of Lord Street, Watford from its junction with Queens Road The Broadway north westwards to its junction with Loates Lane, a distance of approximately 61m.

An alternative route will be via Queens Road The Broadway, Queens Road, St Johns Road, Woodford Road, Clarendon Road, A411 Beechen Grove and Loates Lane.

ff) that length of Queens Road The Broadway, Watford from its junction with Queens Road south westwards to its junction with Lord Street, a distance of approximately 193m.

An alternative route will be via Queens Road, St Johns Road, Woodford Road, Clarendon Road, A411 Beechen Grove, Loates Lane and Lord Street.

gg) that length of Ridge Street, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards to its junction with Gammons Lane, a distance of approximately 198m.

An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road and Gammons Lane or via Maude Crescent, The Harebreaks and A412 St Albans Road.

hh) that length of Shaftsbury Road, Watford from its junction with Ebury Road south westwards and south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

ii) that length of Sotheron Road, Watford from its junction with St Johns Road south eastwards and southwards to its junction with Sutton Road, a distance of approximately 308m.

An alternative route will be via St Johns Road, Queens Road and Sutton Road.

jj) that length of Sutton Road, Watford from its junction with Queens Road south westwards to its junction with Sotheron Road, a distance of approximately 191m.

An alternative route will be via Queens Road, St Johns Road and Sotheron Road.

kk) that length of Southsea Avenue, Watford from its junction with Whippendell Road north westwards and northwards to its junction with Durban Road West, a distance of approximately 204m. An alternative route will be via Whippendell Road, Harwoods Road, Mildred Avenue and Durban Road West.

ll) that length of Southwold Road, Watford from its junction with Windsor Road north eastwards to its junction with Bushey Mill Lane, a distance of approximately 268m.

An alternative route will be via Windsor Road, Sandringham Road and Bushey Mill Lane.

mm)that length of St Marys Road, Watford from its junction with A4178 Merton Road north eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

nn) that length of Stanmore Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards to its junction with Milton Street, a distance of approximately 132m.

An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Parker Street and Milton Street.

oo) that length of The Harebreaks, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards and clockwise to its junction with Longspring, a distance of approximately 689m.

An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road and Longspring.

pp) that length of Maude Crescent, Watford from its junction with Gammons Lane north westwards, north eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 82m.

An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane, Ridge Street, A412 St Albans Road and The Harebreaks.

qq) that length of Maude Crescent, Watford from its junction with Ridge Street north eastwards for a distance of approximately 67m. An alternative route will be via Ridge Street, A412 St Albans Road and The Harebreaks.

rr) the access road leading to 'The Harebreaks Car Park', Watford from its junction with The Harebreaks north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

ss) that length of The Harebreaks, Watford from its junction with Longspring north westwards to its junction with the Leggatts Way/Churchfields Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 751m. An alternative route will be via Longspring, Gammons Lane and Leggatts Way.

tt) that length of Upper Paddock Road, Watford from its junction with Villiers Road eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Lower Paddock Road, a distance of approximately 250m. An alternative route will be via Villiers Road and Lower Paddock Road.

uu) that length of Victoria Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

vv) that length of Yarmouth Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards to its junction with Bradshaw Road, a distance of approximately 171m.

ww) that length of Salisbury Road, Watford from its junction with Bradshaw Road north westwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 165m.

b) that length of Yarmouth Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards to its junction with Bradshaw Road, a distance of approximately 171m.

c) that length of Salisbury Road, Watford from its junction with Bradshaw Road north westwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 165m.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

(Temporary Closing Of Various Roads And Public Footpaths In Watford, Langleybury, Chandlers Cross, Sarratt And Abbots Langley During The 'Watford Half Marathon') Order 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads and public footpaths will be:-1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads, except for access:-

a) that length of Parkside Drive, Watford from its junction with Cassiobury Drive north westwards to its junction with Langley Way, a distance of approximately 1100 metres.

b) that length of Cassiobury Drive, Watford from its junction with Parkside Drive north westwards and northwards for its entire length.

c) the Cassiobury Drive/Langley Way roundabout, Watford from its southernmost junction with Cassiobury Drive clockwise for its entire length.

d) that length of Langley Way, Watford from its junction with Parkside Drive north eastwards to its junction with Bellmount Wood Avenue, a distance of approximately 220m.

e) that length of Bellmount Wood Avenue, Watford from its junction with Langley Way north westwards, northwards and north eastwards to its junction with Cassiobury Drive, a distance of approximately 440m.

f) that length of Glen Way, Watford from its junction with Stanbury Avenue southwards for its entire length.

g) that length of Stanbury Avenue, Watford from its junction with Glen Way north westwards to its junction with Beechpark Way, a distance of approximately 250m.

h) that length of Beechpark Way, Watford from its junction with Stanbury Avenue north westwards to its junction with Grove Mill Lane, a distance of approximately 145m.

i) that length of Grove Mill Lane, Watford from its junction with Beechpark Way south westwards, westwards and northwards to its junction with

Fir Tree Hill, a distance of approximately 1900m.

j) that length of Langleybury Lane, Langleybury from its junction with

Fir Tree Hill north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with

Old House Lane, a distance of approximately 1130m.

k) that length of Fir Tree Hill, Chandlers Cross from its junction with

Langleybury Lane south westwards, southwards and south westwards

to its junction with Redhall Lane, a distance of approximately 1192m.

l) that length of Redhall Lane, Chandlers Cross from its junction with

Fir Tree Hill westwards to its junction with Chandlers Lane, a distance
