Avenue Road, South Benfleet

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Avenue Road, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Fernlea Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th February 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WD4W663S - Openreach).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearance works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Fernlea Road, Hill Road, Underhill Road and vice versa (with access only into Avenue Road).

The Order will come into effect on 9th February 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Commonhall Lane, Benfleet

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Commonhall Lane, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with New Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th February 2023 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013303674 - Essex And Suffolk Water).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via New Road, London Road, Rayleigh Road, Beresford Gardens, Commonhall Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 9th February 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Southernhay, Basildon

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southernhay, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Clay Hill Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a westerly direction only. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st March 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2335098 - Essex County Council).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bus gate signage and road marking works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Southernhay, Station Way, Cherrydown East, Clay Hill Road.

The Order will come into effect on 9th February 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Wash Road, Noak Bridge

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Wash Road, Noak Bridge in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Barleylands Road to its junction with Eastfield Road a distance of approximately 70m.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' that above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 27th February 2023 for 13 nights (1900-0600), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2339973 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while existing traffic island removal and signage works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Wash Road, Hardings Elms Road, Crays Hill, Southend Road, Barleylands Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 9th February 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ECN11001 Cycle Lane Closure, Ashingdon Road Rochford, Rochford

Temporary Closure of Footpath Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of ECN11001 Cycle Lane, Ashingdon Road, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 190m north west of its junction Meesons Mead for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th February 2023 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231008204 - M. Anderson Construction Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree removal works are undertaken by M. Anderson Construction Ltd.

No alternative route is available.

Canvey Way, Canvey Island/Benfleet & Pitsea Bypass, Basildon

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Canvey Way, Canvey Island/Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from the junctions with Sadlers Farm Roundabout to the junction with Canvey Way Roundabout a distance of approximately 4370m.

2. To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Bypass, Basildon in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Sadlers Farm Roundabout for a distance of approximately 200m in a north westerly then westerly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 13th February 2023 for 13 nights (21:00 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231008096 - GTM). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage survey works are undertaken by GTM.

An alternative route is available via Canvey Way Roundabout, Canvey Road - B1014, Ferry Road, High Street, High Road, London Road, Sadlers Farm Roundabout and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 26th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Church Road, Vange

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 35m northwest of its junction with Osbourne Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th February 2023 for 1 night (2300-2359), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701FSS2-24-77-120223 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Church Road, Broadmayne, Broadmayne Roundabout, Broadmayne, Mopsies Roundabout, Tmberlog Lane, Clay Hill Road, Church Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 26th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Various Roads, Basildon

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic (Streetworks No.3) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as detailed in the Schedule.

The works are scheduled to commence after 26th January 2023, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce workforce while ducting and chamber installation works are undertaken by Virgin Media.

The Order came into effect on 26th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
