What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6502 PALACE STREET, NEWMARKET

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6502 PalaceStreet, Newmarket from Rutland Arms Hotel for 20 metres southbound tofacilitate gully works. Other co-ordinated works may also take placeduring this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be High Street, Old Station Road, Vicarage Road, All Saints Road, Palace Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 8pm on 09/02/2023 - 6amon 10/02/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
