A40 TRUNK ROAD (LAY-BY, NEAR DENHAM) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A40 Trunk Road in the Unitary Authority of Buckinghamshire Council, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.
The effect of the Order is to authorise the 24-hour closure of the lay-by adjacent to the London-bound carriageway of the A40 located between points 30 metres and 154 metres east of the centreline of the Grand Union Canal overbridge.
This measure is in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake concrete repairs and all associated works.
It is expected that the work will last for approximately 2 months starting on or after Saturday 18th February 2023.
The Order will come into force on 16th February 2023 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete.
The temporary closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when it is in operation during the works period.
