What is happening?

THE CITY COUNCIL OF LANCASTER (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Lancaster City Council, subject to approval of Lancashire County Council and the Chief Officer of Police, and in exercise of its powers under sections 32, 33, 34 35, 35 (c), 39, 124 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above-named Order.
The effect of the Order is to (1) Consolidate the City Council of Lancaster (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2020 and sequence amendments (2) amend the City Council of Lancaster (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2020’s fees and charges, (2) Amend Plan 18 Battery Breakwater Morecambe, (3) Amend plan 31 Central Drive Morecambe, (4) Add Castle Grove permit car park, (5) Add electric vehicle charging tariff, (6) Add Lansil car park Lancaster and (7) Permit classes amendments.
The proposed changes to fees and charges are set out below: -

A copy of this notice of proposal, a copy of the proposed City Council of Lancaster (Off-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2023, a copy of the City Council of Lancaster (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2020 and corresponding maps, amendment orders and a statement of reasons may be viewed at www.lancaster.gov.uk/parking, Lancaster Town Hall and Morecambe Town Hall during opening hours.
If anyone wishes to object to the Order or make other representations may do so in writing to the undersigned. Any objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections or other representations should be sent to Parking Services, Morecambe Town Hall, Marine Road, Morecambe, LA4 5AF, parking@lancaster.gov.uk not later than 28 days after the date of this Notice.
