ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(LOWER MORDEN LANE. SM4)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 1) ORDER 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate telecommunication works to be undertaken in Lower Morden Lane, SM4, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would:-
(a) enter or proceed on the northern footway of Lower Morden Lane, from its easternmost junction with the Beverley Roundabout to a point 4 metres east of the western boundary of No. 194 Lower Morden Lane; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Lower Morden Lane, between its easternmost junction with the Beverley Roundabout and the common boundary of Nos. 188 and 190 Lower Morden Lane other than inawestbound direction (vehicles would be prohibited from using the eastbound lane); or
(c) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Lower Morden Lane, both sides, between its easternmost junction with the Beverley Roundabout and the common boundary of Nos. 188 and 190 Lower Morden Lane.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Lower Morden Lane specified in paragraph 2(b) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using the Beverley Roundabout, Tudor Drive(B279) and the A24.
6. Pedestrian traffic affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite and the footways around the Beverley Roundabout.
7. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the lengths of road specified in paragraphs 2(a) and 2(b) as applicable, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
9. The Order would come into operation on Monday 27th February 2023, with the works anticipated to be carried out that day. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate telecommunication works in London Road, Tooting, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in the said road and suspend a bus lane.
2. During the works:-
(a) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in London Road, between a point 30 metres north of its junction with Grenfell Road and its junction with Pitcairn Road; and
(b) any bus lane in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended.
3. The restrictions and suspensions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the works would travel using a suspended length of bus lane as applicable.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply to:-
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. The Order would come into operation on Thursday 23 February 2023 with the works anticipated to be carried out over one day. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of three months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should the works be delayed or further works be required.

(PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 140 - BETWEEN SWAINS ROAD AND FLEMING MEAD. SW17)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate telecommunication works, in Public Right of Way No. 140 (between Swains Road and Fleming Mead), they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians from entering or proceeding in Public Right of Way No. 140.
2. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
3. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any person connected with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform.
4. Pedestrians affected by the footpath closure should proceed by way of Fleming Mead, Pitcairn Road and Swains Road.
5. The Order would apply from Monday 27th February 2023 and it is anticipated the works would be completed on Friday 3rd March 2023. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(VERNON AVENUE. SW20)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Vernon Avenue, SW20, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Vernon Avenue, SW20, from its junction with Kingston Road southward for a distance of 17 metres;
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or
(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
5. Vernon Avenue is a cul-de-sac and a diversion route is not required.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come into operation on Monday 27th January 2023 and would remain in force for 6 months.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(ARTERBERRY ROAD. SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate the construction of a new entry treatment in Arterberry Road at its junction with Worple Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:
(a) enter or proceed in Arterberry Road, from the north-western kerb-line of Worple Road north-westward for a distance of 20 metres; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle in the length of Arterberry Road described in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Arterberry Road specified paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Vehicular access to properties adjacent to the restricted length of Arterberry Road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using:-
(a) Worple Road, The Downs and Ridgway or vice-versa; or
(b) Worple Road, Langham Road and Dunmore Road or vice-versa.
7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
9. The Order would come into force on Monday 13th February 2023 and it is anticipated that works would be completed by Friday 24th February 2023. However, the Order would remain in force for 12 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(RAYNES PARK BRIDGE AND VARIOUS ROADS. RAYNES PARK)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway and footway improvement works at the junction of Raynes Park Bridge with Coombe Lane and Pepys Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said roads.
2. During the works, no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in:-
(i) Raynes Park Bridge, between its junction with Coombe Lane and its junction with Approach Road; or
(ii) the lengths of Coombe Lane and Pepys Road south of the island site at their junction with Raynes Park Bridge;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in :-
(i) the length of Raynes Park Bridge specified in sub-paragraph (a) above;
(ii) Coombe Lane, from its junction with Pepys Road to a point 30 metres west of the western kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge;
(iii) Pepys Road, from its junction with Coombe Lane to a point 25 metres north-east of the eastern kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge; or
(c) enter or proceed on foot in the length of the southern footway of Coombe Lane which lies from the western kerb-line of Raynes Park Bridge westward for a distance of 25 metres.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed:-
(a) northbound by way of Approach Road, Kingston Road(A238), Bushey Road(A298), Beverley Way(A3) southbound, Shannon Corner, Beverley Way/Kingston Bypass(A3) northbound, Robin Hood Way, Coombe Lane West(A238), Coombe Lane Flyover and Coombe Lane; or
(b) southbound by way of Coombe Lane(A238), Beverley Way/Kingston Bypass(A3), Bushey Road(A298), Kingston Road(A238) and Approach Road.
5. Pedestrian traffic affected by the road and footway closures should proceed using the footways opposite as directed.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 13th February 2023 with the works anticipated to be completed by Friday 3rd March 2023 or sooner. However, the Order will remain in force for 12 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTIONS 14(1)
MURRAY ROAD. SW19
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate construction and development works at No. 65 Murray Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including forthe purpose of loading orunloading any vehicle, in Murray Road.thesouth-west side, from a point 8.7 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 63 and 65 Murray Road north-westward for a distance of 6.8 metres.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works to facilitate a skip.
4. The restrictions and suspension will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes in any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order will come into operation on Saturday 11 February 2023 and will remain in force for 6 months.

THORNTON HILL. WIMBLEDON
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton, hereby give notice that to facilitate crane works in Thornton Hill, Wimbledon, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic In the said Thornton Hill, Wimbledon.
2. During the works no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Thornton Hill, from its junction with Worple Road north-westward to the common boundary of Nos. 10 and 12 Thornton Hill; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in subparagraph 2(a) above;
(c) enter or proceed in the southwestern footway of the length of Thornton Hill which lies between the common boundary of Nos. 10 and 12 Thornton Hill and the common boundary of Nos. 13 and 15 Thornton Hill.
3. Any designated parking place, situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or length of road.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
6. Nothing in paragraph 2(c) above would apply to any person requiring pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the prohibited length of footway.
7. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Worple Road, Denmark Avenue, St John's Road and Thornton Road, or vice versa.
8. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure proceed using the footway opposite.
9. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
10. The Order would come into force on Wednesday 1st March 2023 and it Is anticipated that the works would be completed that day. However, the Order would remain in force for a period of 3 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(PARKSIDE AVENUE. SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Parkside Avenue, SW19, they Intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Parkside Avenue, SW19, from a point 5 metres south-west of its southernmost junction Margin Drive south-westward for a distance of 30 metres; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in the length of Parkside Avenue specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Parkside Avenue specified in paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. Parkside Avenue leads to a cul-de-sac and a diversionary route is not required.
5. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties in Parkside Avenue adjacent to or north-east of the prohibited length of road and in Deepdale, Margin Drive and Windy Ridge insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order would come into force on Tuesday 28th February 2023 and remain in operation until 28th August 2023.
