ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
OAKHILL ROAD, NORBURY
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Oakhill Road, Norbury.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Oakhill Road will be closed outside No. 2 Oakhill Road.
3. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
- Via Stanford Road, Abingdon Road, Upwood Road, Croindene Road and vice versa.
- Via Stanford Road, London Road, Roche Road, Bishops Park Road and Croindene Road
- Via Croindene Road, Bishop Park Road, Roche Road, Fairview Road, London Road and Stanford Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 06 February 2023, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
SMITHAM DOWNS ROAD, PURLEY
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer connection works they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Smitham Downs Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Smitham Downs Road will be closed between its junctions with The Vale and The Drive.
3. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be via Brighton Road, Banstead Road, Foxley Lane, Smitham Bottom Lane and reversed, or via Brighton Road, Chipstead Valley Road, Woodcote Grove Road and reversed, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 20 February 2023, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 01 March 2023. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said works.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER PLAYSTREET CLOSURES - LIVINGSTONE ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they intend to make a Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close Livingstone Road, Thornton Heath, to vehicular traffic at the times and on the dates specified in the Schedule to this notice, to facilitate a playstreet.
2. During the dates and times specified in the Schedule to this notice no person shall cause any vehicle to enter or proceed in Livingstone Road, between its junctions with Layard Road and Mersham Place.
3. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for residents, or pedestrians accessing any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.
4. Nothing in the Order shall apply:
a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
5. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Layard Road and Moffat Road.
6. The Order will come into effect on 12 March 2023 and will be reintroduced at the times and on the dates specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
