What is happening?

Brighton And Hove City Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Traffic Order - Kingsway

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Councilhave on the 25 January 2023

made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-

2. The temporary prohibition of waiting at any time on Kingsway at the following locations:

a. Opposite number 155 for a length of 15 metres

b. Opposite the junction with Carlisle Road for a length of 15 metres

c. Opposite number 249 for a length of 15 metres

3. The Order is necessary to allow access to the "Kingsway to the Sea" development

4. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

5. This Order comes into force on 3 February 2023 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
