(Harrow Road, Bowers Gifford and North Benfleet)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harrow Road, Bowers Gifford and North Benfleet in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 535m northeast of its junction with Pound Lane for a distance of approximately 25m in an easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th February 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M65344 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water. No alternative route is available.

The Order came into effect on 26th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mill Lane, Stambridge)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Stambridge in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Stambridge Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th February 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30040527977 - UK Power Networks).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

No alternative route is available.

The Order came into effect on 19th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Southend Road, Great Wakering)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southend Road, Great Wakering in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Star Lane for a distance of approximately 1300m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th February 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008FAA6088M001 - Openreach).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground cable works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Southend Road, Star Lane, Poynters Lane, Bournes Green Chase and Poynters Lane Roundabout, Bournes Green Chase, Bournes Green Chase and Maplin Way Roundabout, Maplin Way North, Bournes Green Chase and Thorpe Hall Avenue Roundabout, Wakering Road, Silchester Corner Roundabout, Silchester Corner and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 19th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Thisselt Road & Vaulx Road, Canvey Island)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Thisselt Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 150m north west of its junction with Linde Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a north westerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Vaulx Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 30m north east of its junction with Waarden Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 3rd February 2023 for 21 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001199638 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Waarden Road, Lede Road and vice versa (with access only into Thisslet Road and Linde Road).

The Order came into effect on 19th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Rochford)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) (No.1) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Rochford as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of road as specified in the schedule.

"The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 19th January 2023, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Rochford as detailed in the Schedule.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of road as specified in the schedule for the duration of the closures in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
