ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1342 from its junction with the access to Belford Quarry, heading north-west for a distance of 40 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 28th January 2023 until the 29th January 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 28th January 2023 until the 29th January 2023 between the hours of 22:00 and 08:30 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1342, U2004 , A1, B1342 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM Ltd for Network Rail to lift out level crossing to allow tamper to work through the area.
