What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Munster Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.11) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 16th January 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
From its junction with Gladys Avenue to its junction with London Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Openreach access to overhead network for pole replacement works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 09:30 to 15:30 on 16th January 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Vehicles will be diverted from Gladys Avenue - London Avenue - London Road. (Access will be maintained under marshal control.)
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
