St Stephens Road Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (St Stephens Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.15) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under
Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 23 rd January 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
ST STEPHENS ROAD
From its junction with Winchester Road to outside No. 36.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate new electric connection works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 23rd January 2023 to 28 th January 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Queens Road - Kingston Road - Binsteed Road – St Stephens Road and Binsteed Road - Balliol Road - Winchester Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
