THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(CHAPEL STREET, ECCLESBOURNE AVENUE AND
TOWN STREET, DUFFIELD) (No Waiting at Any Time,
Blue Badge Holder Parking and Limited Waiting) ORDER
Notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which, in the Parish of Duffield:
(1) TO PROHIBIT WAITING BY VEHICLES ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Chapel Street in the Parish of Duffield East side –
From its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 22 metres.
From a point 36 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 12 metres.
From a point 51.6 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 1.4 metres.
From a point 60 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 1 metre.
From a point 74.5 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 5.5 metres.
From a point 91 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 2 metres.
From a point 107 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 6.5 metres.
From a point 123.5 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 2.5 metres.
From a point 128 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 7 metres.
Chapel Street in the Parish of Duffield West side –
From a point 122 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 8 metres.
Ecclesbourne Avenue in the Parish of Duffield North side –
From a point 155 metres east of its junction with Town Street in an easterly direction for distance of 7.5 metres.
Ecclesbourne Avenue in the Parish of Duffield South side –
From a point 155 metres east of its junction with Town Street in an easterly direction for distance of 8.5 metres.
(2) TO DESIGNATE BLUE BADGE HOLDER PARKING PLACES, MONDAY TO SATURDAY, 8AM TO 6PM ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD: -
Chapel Street in the Parish of Duffield East side -
From a point 22 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 3.6 metres.
From a point 48 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 3.6 metres.
Town Street in the Parish of Duffield West side -
From a point 135 metres north of its junction with Wirksworth Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 7 metres.
(3) TO DESIGNATE LIMITED WAITING 3 HOURS NO RETURN WITHIN 1 HOUR PARKING PLACES, MONDAY TO SATURDAY, 8AM TO 6PM ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Chapel Street in the Parish of Duffield East side -
From a point 25.6 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 10.4 metres.
From a point 53 metres north of its junction with Town Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 7 metres.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock between 9am and 5pm on each day from Monday to Friday and on request by emailing Place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made and at Duffield Library, Wirksworth Road, Duffield, Belper, Derbyshire, DE56 4GH between 9.30am and 1pm Monday, 2pm – 7pm Wednesday, 9.30am – 5pm Friday and 9.30am – 12.30pm Saturday until Friday 13th January 2023.
All objections and other representations to the proposal must (a) be made in writing (b) state the grounds on which they are made (c) provide a name and address for contact purposes (d) be sent to the Executive Director – Place, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock DE4 3AG (For Attention of Traffic and Safety Team quoting reference Z3321) or email Place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk by Friday 13th January 2023.
