THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS
AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY
RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that Doncaster Borough Council
have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the roads and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering,
proceeding or waiting in those lengths of Almholme Lane
and Common Lane at Almholme in the Doncaster
Metropolitan District as described in the Schedule to this
notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and
the workforce whilst works to provide retread specialist
carriageway resurfacing and subsequent road markings
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for
vehicles affected by the Order. Those residents and
businesses directly affected by the works are to be notified
of the scheme to include access arrangements.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction
imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions
of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

day of March 2023 or until the works which it is proposed to
carry out in or near the said roads have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.

Locations
1) Almholme Lane from its junction with Fordstead Lane to
its junction with Common Lane
2) Common Lane from its junction with Almholme Lane for
243m in a south easterly direction.
Dates and Times
On or after 3rd January 2023 until 5th February 2023
between 07:00hrs and 17:00hrs
The maximum duration of works approx. 7 consecutive days
between the dates shown.
The works may occur on a weekend. This process is
weather dependant and as such exact dates cannot be
given, in the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse
weather conditions, the closure may extend beyond this
date although all closures to be completed by 31st
March 2023

PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Doncaster Borough Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice
to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that
length of Fielders Way at Edlington in the Doncaster
Metropolitan District as described in the Schedule to this
notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and
the workforce whilst carriageway resurfacing works are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Headingley Way, Wicket Way,
Edlington Lane and vice versa.
