Temporary Road Closure - Station Road, Old Whittington
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
STATION ROAD, OLD WHITTINGTON
WHEN: 9th January 2023 to 10th January 2023 (23:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: Station Road, Old Whittington between its junction with Brimington Road North for a distance of 100 metres in a northerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate rail bridge inspection works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B5057 Brimington Road North / Sheffield Road, Broomhill Road, B6052 High Street / Whittington Hill / Station Road (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
