NOTICE is given that Sunderland City Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53, and 122 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

THE CITY OF SUNDERLAND (SUNDERLAND ROYAL HOSPITAL AREA)
(WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO3) ORDER 20--
NOTICE is given that Sunderland City Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53, and 122 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, by virtue of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act. The effect of the proposed order is to amend the City of Sunderland (Sunderland Royal Hospital Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order 2014 as amended by:
(i) Extending the No Waiting At Any Time restrictions by adding the items specified in Schedule 1.01 below and
(ii) Extending Permit Holders Parking Only operating Mon-Fri 10am – 11am and 2pm – 3pm by adding the items specified in Schedule 4.95 below and
(iii) Extending the Permit Holders Parking Area operating Mon-Fri 10am – 11am and 2pm – 3pm to include the roads specified in Schedule 23.63 below, and
(iv) Revoking the items from the orders specified in the revocation schedule below.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected during normal opening hours at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which the Order is made. An electronic copy of the documents can also be obtained by emailing: statutoryorders@sunderland.gov.uk. In addition, a paper copy can be requested by telephoning 01915611612 during office hours. Objections to and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to E. Waugh, Assistant Director of Law and Governance, City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, or via email at: statutoryorders@sunderland.gov.uk on or before the 18th January 2023 and any objection must state the grounds on which it is made.
