Avondale Road, Inkersall Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
AVONDALE ROAD, INKERSALL
WHEN: 3rd January 2023 to 31st March 2023
WHERE: Avondale Road, Inkersall between its junction with Peak Place for a distance of 100 metres in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate major sewer works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Avondale Road (from point of closure), Clarendon Road, Avondale Road (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
