What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ORDER
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATHS NO.28 (PART) AND NO.29 (PART) WHALEY BRIDGE
WHEN: 19th December 2022 to 18th June 2023
WHERE: Close Public Footpath No.28 (part) Whaley Bridge from Reservoir Road to its junction with footpath No.29. Close Public Footpath No.29 (part) Whaley Bridge from the edge of the sports facility to its junction with footpath No.32.
REASON: To facilitate public safety during major construction works to repair damage to the auxiliary spillway of Toddbrook Reservoir.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: No Alternative Route Is recommended. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished.
