PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS
AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY
RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that Doncaster Borough Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice
to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that
length of Moss Road at Moss in the Doncaster Metropolitan
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for lead renewal - renewing the
existing lead pipework and replacing with MDPE
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Moss Road, Flashley Carr Lane,
West Lane, Broad Lane, Sykehouse Road, Marsh Hill Lane,
Pincheon Green Lane, Oak Lane, Beevers Bridge Lane,
Between Rivers Lane, Thorne Road, Snaith Road, Goathead
Lane, Goole Road, Cowick Road, Beast Fair, Shearburn
Terrace, Pontefract Road, Gowdall Broach, Broach Road,
Broach Lane, Weeland Road, Eggborough By-pass, Selby
Road, Doncaster Road, Station Road and vice versa.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including
the 31st day of December 2022 or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said road have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.

Moss Road Moss from its junction with Fenwick Common
Lane for 127m in a westerly direction
Dates and Times
08:00hrs 19th December 2022 until 20:00hrs 23rd December
2022. The road will reopen each evening

(AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 2022
Notice is hereby given that Doncaster Borough Council
propose to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers
The effect of the order will be to:
Revoke the existing 20 mph speed limit on the
following roads:-
That length of HIRST GATE, Mexborough which extends from
its junction with Doncaster Road to a point 44m south of its
junction with Cowper Road in a northerly direction.
That length of PITT STREET, Mexborough which extends from
its junction with Doncaster Road to a point 115m south of its
junction with Cowper Road in northerly direction.
That length of SEDGEFIELD WAY, Mexborough which
extends from its junction with Adwick Road in a generally
easterly direction for a distance of 228m to a point 10m west
of its junction with Sandown Road.
That length of ULLSWATER ROAD, Mexborough which
extends from its junction with Coniston Road in a generally
northerly direction for a distance of 223m to its junction with
Ullswater Road opposite property numbers 78/80
Ullswater Road.
(ii) Introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following roads:
