(VARIOUS STREETS, BELPER, CODNOR, HEANOR AND RIPLEY, DERBYSHIRE)
(PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS OF WAITING AND STOPPING) ORDER 2022

Notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be, in respects of roads in the District of Amber Valley:
1.To prohibit waiting At Any Time on the following lengths of road:
Aldred’s Lane, Heanor (south-west side) - From its junction with Laceyfields Road in a north-easterly direction for 33 metres.
Church Farm Road, Ripley (west side) - From its junction with Derby Road in a southerly direction for 76 metres.
Church Farm Road, Ripley (east side) - From its junction with Peasehill Road in a southerly direction for 57 metres and from its junction with Steeple Drive in a north-westerly direction for 46 metres.
Church Lane, Belper (south- east side) - From its junction with Green Lane in a south-easterly direction to a point 43 metres north-west of its junction with Church Street.
Church Street, Ripley (south-west side) - From a point 10 metres south-east of its junction with Pit Lane to a point 10 metres north-west of that junction.
Church Street, Ripley (north-east side) - From a point 196 metres south-east of its junction with Orchard Close in a south-easterly direction for 13.5 metres.
Gladstone Street, Heanor (east side) - From its junction with Whysall Street in a northerly direction for 10 metres.
Gladstone Street, Heanor (west side) - From its junction with Whysall Street in a northerly direction for 10 metres.
Hands Road, Heanor (south-east side) - From its junction with Laceyfields Road in a south-westerly direction for 24 metres.
High Street, Ripley (east side) - From a point 35 metres north of its junction with Grosvenor Road in a northerly direction for 3.5 metres.
Holmes Street, Heanor (north-east side) - From its junction with Park Street in a north-westerly direction for 10 metres and from a point 10 metres south-east of its junction with John Street to a point 10 metres north-west of that junction.
Holmes Street, Heanor (south-west side) - From its junction with Park Street in a north-westerly direction for 10 metres, from a point 10 metres south-east of its junction with West Street to a point 10 metres north-west of that junction and from its junction with Northern Road in a south-easterly direction for 10 metres.
John Street, Heanor (north-west side) - From its junction with Holmes Street in a north-easterly direction for 10 metres.
John Street, Heanor (south-east side) - From its junction with Holmes Street in a north-easterly direction for 10 metres.
Laceyfields Road, Heanor (north-east side) - From its junction with Aldred’s Lane in a south-easterly direction for 14 metres.
Laceyfields Road, Heanor (south-west side) - From its junction with Hands Road in a south-easterly direction 24 metres.
Market Street, Heanor (north side) - From its junction with Fletcher Street in an easterly direction for 10 metres.
Moseley Street, Ripley (east side) - From its junction with Wood Street in a southerly direction for 10 metres.
Mount Pleasant, Ripley (east side) - From its junction with Wood Street in a northerly direction for 10 metres.
Northern Road, Heanor (north-west side) - From its junction with Holmes Street in a south-westerly direction for 10 metres.
Northern Road, Heanor (south-east) - From its junction with Holmes Street in a south-westerly direction for 10 metres.
Over Lane, Belper (north-west side) - From its junction with Openwoodgate in an easterly direction for 53 metres.
Over Lane, Belper (south-east side) - From its junction with Kilburn Lane (A609) in an easterly direction for 53 metres.
Park Street, Heanor (north side) - From its junction with Holmes Street in a westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
Peasehill Road, Ripley (south side) - From its junction with Church Farm Road in an easterly direction for 39 metres.
Pit Lane, Ripley (south-east side) - From its junction with Church Lane in a westerly direction for 10 metres.
Pit Lane, Ripley (north-west side) - From its junction with Church Lane in a westerly direction for 10 metres.
Sandbed Lane, Belper (north side) - From its junction with Openwoodgate in a westerly direction for 71 metres.
Sandbed Lane, Belper (south side) - From its junction with Kilburn Lane (A609) in a westerly direction for 71 metres.
Steeple Drive, Ripley (north side) - From its junction with Church Farm Road in a north-easterly direction for 10 metres.
Wall Street, Ripley (north-east side) - From its junction with Wood Street in a southerly direction for 10 metres.
Wall Street, Ripley (east side) - From its junction with Church Street in a northerly direction for 80 metres.
Wall Street, Ripley (south-west side) - From its junction with Wood Street in a southerly direction for 10 metres.
Wall Street, Ripley (west side) - From its junction with Church Street in a northerly direction for 80 metres.
West Street, Heanor (north side) - From its junction with Holmes Street in a westerly direction for 10 metres.
West Street, Heanor (south side) - From its junction with Holmes Street in a westerly direction for 10 metres.
Wilmot Street, Heanor (east side) - From its junction with Mundy Street in a northerly direction for 23 metres and from a point 48 metres north of its junction with Mundy Street to its junction with the A608 Market Street.
Wood Street, Ripley (north side) - From its junction with Mount Pleasant in an easterly direction for 10 metres.
Wood Street, Ripley (south side) - From its junction with Moseley Street in an easterly direction for 10 metres and from its junction with Wall Street in an easterly direction for 10 metres.
2.To prohibit Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings - Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm on the following road: -
Long Row, Belper (north side) - From a point 5 metres east of its junction with Bridge Street in an easterly direction for 43.5 metres.
3.To prohibit Stopping except Taxis - At Any Time on the following roads:
High Street, Ripley (east side) - From a point 23 metres north of its junction with Grosvenor Road in a northerly direction for 12 metres and from a point 38.5 metres north of its junction with Grosvenor Road in a northerly direction for 27 metres.
Wilmot Street, Heanor (east side) - From a point 23 metres north of its junction with Mundy Street in a northerly direction for 25 metres.
4.To provide Limited Waiting parking places - Monday to Saturday, 7am to 10pm, 20 minutes, No Return 1 hour on the following roads:
Church Farm Road, Ripley (east side) - From a point 57 metres south of its junction with Peasehill Road in a southerly direction for 10 metres and from a point 71 metres south of its junction with Peasehill Road in a southerly direction for 10 metres.
5.To provide Limited Waiting parking place - Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, 30 minutes, No Return 1 hour on the following road: -
New Street, Ripley (east side) - From a point 34 metres south of its junction with Nottingham Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 12 metres.
6.To provide a Loading Only Bay – At Any Time on the following road: -
High Street, Ripley (east side) - From a point 17 metres north of its junction with Grosvenor Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 6 metres.
7.To Revoke on the following roads: -
Hands Road, Heanor (north side) - Resident Permit Holders Only - From a point 183 metres east of its junction with Church Street in an easterly direction for a distance of 65 metres.
Mill Lane, Codnor (north side) - No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 9:30am and 2:45pm to 4:00pm) - From a point 70 metres west of its junction with High Street in a westerly direction for a distance of 25.5 metres.
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, will be revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock between 9am and 5pm on each day from Monday to Friday and on request by emailing Place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made and at Belper Library, Derwent Street, Belper, Derbyshire, DE56 1UQ between 9.30am and 5pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am and 7pm Thursday and 9.30am and 4pm Saturday, Sunday Closed. Heanor Library, Ilkeston Road, Heanor, Derbyshire, DE75 7DX between 9.30am and 5pm Monday to Thursday, 9:30am–7pm Friday and 9:30am–5pm Saturday 9:30am–4pm, Sunday Closed. Ripley Library, 21 Grosvenor Road, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3JE between 9.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, 9.30am and 5pm Saturday, Sunday Closed. Until Friday 6th January 2023.
