Hickton Road, Swanwick Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HICKTON ROAD, SWANWICK
WHEN: 5th December 2022 to 22nd March 2023 (07:30 to 17:30)
WHERE: Hickton Road, Swanwick between its junction with Derby Road and Park Drive.
REASON: To facilitate excavation in the carriageway to divert and upsize the existing foul and surface water sewer. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hickton Road, Hayes Lane, The Delves, The Green, Derby Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
