TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.32 WINGERWORTH

WHEN: 21st November 2022 to 20th May 2023
WHERE: Close Public Footpath No. 32 through the construction site, approximately 150 metres South of the visitors’ centre at The Avenue, Mill Lane, Wingerworth. REASON: To facilitate public safety during construction works. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From east: Travel north on Adlington Avenue. until its junction with Mill Lane. Travel east on Mill Lane until its junction on the right with Wingerworth footpath 32. Travel south on footpath 32 until its junction with Wingerworth footpath 37 and the other side of the closure. Vice-versa if travelling from west.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
