DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTIONS & ROAD CLOSURE)
(LYNVAL ROAD, QUARRY BANK) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council
made the above-mentioned temporary Order to safely facilitate repair works
on the Public Right of Way between Lynval Road, Quarry Bank.
The effects of which will be to prohibit: -
(a) the waiting, loading, or unloading vehicles;
(b) all vehicles from entering or proceeding;
on the Public Right of Way from Lynval Road, Quarry Bank to Thornes Road at such times and extent when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed. The Order will apply at 08:00 hours on Tuesday 15th November 2022. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by Saturday 13th May 2023. The Order will remain valid for a maximum duration of 18 months to allow for unexpected events, or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier.
Diversions for pedestrians shall be via: Lynval Road, the footpath through Stevens Park, Thorns Road and vice versa.
Exemptions will be provided for: -
a. anything done with the permission or at the direction of a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
b. emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
c. any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works.
