TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2022

Sunderland City Council gives notice that on 7th November 2022 it made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit all vehicular, horse and bicycle traffic from those roads listed in the schedule below. The Order is required to allow the maintenance of the roads and the installation of a bund. The order comes into force on 14th November 2022. The maximum duration of the closure under this Order will be eighteen months, it is estimated that the works will take the full eighteen month. All vehicles, horses and bicycles will be prohibited from the highways detailed in the Schedule below, until the works are completed or at such times and to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the display of traffic signs.
Schedule
Cedar Crescent – from its junction with The Elms, in a northerly direction for its entire length.
Frosterley Close – from its junction with Cedar Crescent, for its entire length.
The Pines – from its junction with The Elms, north for its entire length.
