CLOSURE) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Ancroft Public Footpath No 7, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
From the junction with Public Footpath No 8, 280 metres south-east of Windyridge in an easterly direction for a distance of 605 metres crossing the East Coast Main Line Railway to a point on the U15 road 245 metres south-east of The Lodge.
There is an alternative route available using existing Public Footpath No 8 from the junction with Public Footpath No 7, 280 metres south-east of Windyridge in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 370 metres to join the U15 road 65 metres north-west of Windyridge.
The Order is to be effective from the 24th October 2022 until the 24th April 2023.

The closure has been requested by Network Rail in the interests of public safety to comply with Network Rail safety standards.
