Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14
Temporary Prohibition of Use of Bridleway 3, Bridleway UN3 & Restricted Byway UN1, Ludford & Ashford Carbonel Shropshire Council has made an order temporarily prohibiting the use of Bridleway 3, Bridleway UN3 & Restricted Byway UN1, Ludford and Ashford Carbonel from where Bridleway 3 leaves Steventon Road at Grid Reference SO 5225 7334 travelling in a generally southerly direction to meet Bridleway UN3 and cross the rail crossing before joining Restricted Byway UN1 at Grid Reference SO 5172 7198 continuing along the Restricted Byway to meet the County Road at Grid Reference SO 5222
7115 .
The Order will continue to be in force from the 15th October 2022 until the 15th October 2024 and is still required on the grounds of public safety so that repair works at the rail crossing can be carried out.
There is no alternative route available, however access will be maintained
on foot along the Footpath adjacent to Restricted Byway UN1 between the County Road and Saltmoor Coppice.
