Manchester - Multiple Traffic Notices

Notice is hereby given that on 4 October 2022 Manchester City Council made the following Orders under Sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders, is introduced on an experimental basis for a period of up to 18 months:

THE CITY OF MANCHESTER (MANCHESTER COMMUNICATION PRIMARY ACADEMY), (EXPERIMENTAL PROHIBITION OF DRIVING DURING TERM TIME EXCEPT CYCLES AND ACCESS) ORDER 2022

Prohibition of Driving except cycles and for access only during Mon to Thurs 8.15am to 9.15am and 2.45pm to 4.15pm.; and (ii) Friday at 8.15am to 9.15am and 1.45pm to 2.15pm on Parkstead Drive, from Lathbury Rd to wards its cul-de-sac end in a SW direction.

Prohibition of Driving except cycles and for access only during Mon to Fri 8.30am to 9.10am and 3.10pm to 3.50pm on Brookburn Rd, from boundary of house No. 05/07 Brookburn Rd to 37/39 Brookburn Rd in a SE direction

(i) From its junction with Wood Rd to Sylvan Ave in a NE direction
(ii) Russell Rd at the junction with Whalley Rd
(iii) Rowan Ave at the junction with Whalley Rd

Prohibition of Driving except cycles and for access only during Monday to Friday 8.30am to 9.10am and 2.50pm to 3.30pm on St Paul’s Rd, from its junction with Parsonage Rd for its entire length around cul-de-sac.

Prohibition of Driving except cycles, buses and for access only Mon to Fri 8am to 9am and 3pm to 4.15pm on St Augustine St, from Ridgewood Avenue to its junction with Rushwick Ave in a NE direction.

THE CITY OF MANCHESTER ( ST JAMES C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL), (EXPERIMENTAL PROHIBITION OF DRIVING DURING TERM TIME EXCEPT CYCLES AND ACCESS) ORDER 2022

Prohibition of Driving except cycles and for access only during Monday to Friday 8.20am to 9am and 2.45pm to 3.45pm on Cromwell Range, towards its cul-de-sac end in an E direction Existing restrictions may be suspended for the duration of the Experimental Orders.
The Orders will come into operation on 17 October 2022.

Copies of the Orders together with a plan showing the roads to which they relate and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the Orders may be inspected by appointment at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday. The Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the Orders should be continued in force indefinitely.

Within a period of six months from the coming into force of the Order or if the Order is subsequently varied or amended from the coming into force of the variation or modification (whichever is the latter) any person may object to the indefinite continuation of the provisions of the Order. Any person wishing to object should submit their grounds of objection in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the address below no later than 16 April 2023.
