The Standards Sub-Committee has found that Councillor Farooq Ahmed breached the council’s Member Code of Conduct. Having considered all of the evidence and representations presented at the hearing, the Sub- Committee concluded that this failure amounted to a breach of the Member Code of Conduct. However, the Sub-Committee considered that publication of its finding was in the public interest and consistent with the council’s commitment to maintaining high standards of conduct. A written decision notice has been provided to the parties.
