NOTICE OF INTENDED DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Charnwood Borough Council intends to dispose of an area of land consisting of or forming part of an open space.
The land to which this notice relates is: An area of land situated off Navigation Way, Loughborough
The proposed disposal is: The council proposes to dispose of its freehold interest in the land to the adjoining owner to facilitate access to and egress from that property.
A plan showing the land to which the proposed disposal relates to may be viewed on the Council’s website at www.charnwood.gov.uk/PublicNotices or by requesting a copy of the same by sending an email to asset.management@charnwood.gov.uk.
Any representations or objections to the proposed disposal must be made in writing to: asset.management@charnwood.gov.uk stating the reasons for such objections, by no later than Wednesday 11 November 2026.
