NOTICE OF PUBLIC EXHIBITIONS
BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT DRAFT MASTER PLAN
On Thursday 8 October 2026, Birmingham Airport unveiled its draft Master Plan, alongside the public consultation that will take place. The draft Plan will outline how we can make best use of our existing runway capacity while enhancing passenger facilities, improving surface access, supporting emerging technologies, strengthening environmental performance and creating wider benefits for our local communities. It also recognises that growth must be delivered responsibly, with sustainability, collaboration and community engagement at its core. This Master Plan ensures we are ready for the future.
The public consultation on Birmingham Airport’s draft Master Plan will run from 8 October to 4 December 2026. A series of public consultation events will take place from 16 October, giving people the opportunity to find out more and have their say. Details of the events are listed below. All are welcome.
