PART OF FOOTPATH FP1404202 AT WOODSIDE CRESCENT, NEWCHURCH, ROSSENDALE
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026
The above Order, made on 30th September 2026, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath running from a point at the western corner of the garages to the rear of the properties at Woodside Crescent, running east for 50 metres through nos. 13, 11 & 9 Woodside Crescent, to a line running from the same point at the rear of the properties at Woodside Crescent, running generally south-east for 25 metres, then running generally east-north-east for a further 25 metres, on a hard surface between nos.13 and 15 to the footway of Woodside Crescent as shown on the Order Map.
The Order will amend the Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Lancashire accordingly.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at my offices from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.
Any representations about, or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston, PR1 0LD (REF: LSG4/FJ4/104346) not later than Friday 6th November 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Lancashire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
