NOTICE OF THE DISPOSAL OF CHILDRENS PLAY AREAS AT ROSS-ON-WYE, LEINTWARDINE, LEOMINSTER, WIGMORE, AND LEDBURY TO THE RELEVANT TOWN AND PARISH COUNCILS FOR THE AREAS CONCERNED

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that The County of Herefordshire District Council intends to dispose of the following children’s play areas to the respective town or parish councils:

Ross on Wye Town Council Beech Close, Roman Way and Grammer School Close

Leintwardine Group Parish Council The Criftins play area

Leominster Town Council Barons Cross, Ridgemoor Road, St Botolphs play area

Wigmore Group Parish Council Kings Meadow Toddler play area

Ledbury Town Council Browning Road, Kemply Brook, Prince Rupert Road, Yeomans Close, Deer Park Villa Way, Childer Road and John Lee Road

Copies of plans showing the location of the land concerned may be inspected during normal office hours at the office of Herefordshire Council Plough Lane Hereford HR4 0LE. They can also be inspected on the Councils website at https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/ any objections regarding the intended disposal can be made in writing to David Micah, Commercial and Investment Officer Herefordshire Council, P O Box 4 Plough Lane Hereford HR4 0LE or by email to David.Micah@herefordshire.gov.uk no later than 2nd November 2026.
