NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that Mole Valley District Council (the Council) pursuant to powers under Section 123 Local Government Act 1972, as amended, intends to dispose of open space land by way of surrender of existing lease and regrant of a new 25 year lease of land and buildings at Chrystie Recreation Ground, Dorking Road Bookham Surrey as shown edged red on the plan (the Open Space Land).

The Open Space Land has been used from 2011 by the Bookham Bowling Club as a bowling green and associated pavilions. The Council does not have an operational need for the Open Space Land.

INSPECTION OF PLAN

A plan showing the Open Space Land edged red, is available for inspection free of charge Monday to Friday during usual business hours at the Council Offices, Pippbrook, Reigate Road, Dorking or you can request a copy of the plan by email to property@molevalley.gov. uk quoting the reference "Bowling Green and Pavilion at Chrystie Recreation Ground".

OBJECTIONS
Any objections to the proposed disposal of the Open Space Land only should be made in writing to Alison Woolgar Head of Asset Management & Investment Property, Mole Valley District Council, Pippbrook, Dorking, RH4 1SJ or by email to property@molevalley.gov.uk by 5pm on 29th October 2026.
