NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNCIL NOTICE OF INTENTION TO DISPOSE OF LAND SECTION 123(2A) LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the North Yorkshire Council (“the Council”) intends to dispose of land forming part of HM Land registry reference NYK336235 between Burniston Road and North Bay Promenade, Scarborough (“the Land”). The notice is published in Scarborough News, a newspaper circulating in the area in which the Land is situated, in two consecutive weeks. In accordance with the provisions of Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 the Council will consider any objections to the proposed disposal of the Land which are to be received within 14 days of the date of the first publication of this notice and which are addressed to: Mr Nick Cotton, Estates Surveyor, Property Service, North Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD, or by email to estatesteam@northyorks.gov.uk Any objections or representations received within the above period will be considered by the Council before any final decision is taken in respect of the proposed disposal. The proposed disposal of the Land is by way of freehold sale together with the Council’s freehold interest in the adjoining Alpamare Water Park. The below plan shows the Land edged red. It is proposed, subject to contract that the area marked ‘A’ on the plan will be subject to a restrictive covenant limiting development to uses that are synergistic
