What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ELMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL (“THE COUNCIL”) INTENDS TO DISPOSE OF OPEN SPACE LAND PURSUANT TO SECTION 123(2A) LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972
LAND ON THE NORTH SIDE OF OAKEN LANE, CLAYGATE, ESHER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to dispose by way of sale of the freehold, land having an approximate area of 7.56 acres (3.06 hectares) on the north side of Oaken Lane, Claygate, Esher (the “Property”) which forms open space.
By virtue of section 123(2A) Local Government Act 1972 the Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of the Property and consider any objections received.
A plan showing the extent of the Property to be so disposed of may be inspected at Main Reception at Elmbridge Borough Council, Civic Centre, High Street, Esher KT10 9SD on Monday to Friday each week (public holidays excepted) until 16 October 2026.
Any person objecting to the above proposal should write to: Elmbridge Borough Council, Civic Centre, High Street, Esher KT10 9SD marked FAO: Head of Asset Management and quoting the details of this notice, on or before the date referred to above giving full particulars of the grounds of their objection.
