SECTION 123(1), (2A) DISPOSAL OF INTEREST IN OPEN SPACE
Notice is hereby given under section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Teignbridge District Council intends to dispose of the areas of land described in the list below, all of which consists or form part of an open space:
Rear of 12-20 Furlong Close, Buckfastleigh;
Junction of Plymouth Road and Strode Road, Buckfastleigh;
Church Street, Dawlish;
Crokers Way, Ipplepen;
The Green and the Hams, Ide;
Town Quay, Forde Road, Newton Abbot;
Rattle Street, Trusham;
Cleave Close, Tedburn St Mary.
Plans showing the areas of land affected by the proposed disposals are available for public inspection during normal office hours, at the Council’s Offices at Forde House, Newton Abbot (by appointment only).
Any objections regarding the proposed disposals must be made in writing and addressed to the Estates Department at the Council’s offices below or may be sent via email to estates@teignbridge.gov.uk and must be received no later than 5 November 2026.
