NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that it is the intention of Oldham Borough Council to dispose of the land described in the Schedule below which land consists of open space (“the Land”) by grant of a lease to enable the installation of an electronic communications street pole with associated cabinet and other equipment by or on behalf of Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure Limited (“Cornerstone”) with ancillary rights to lay cables and with appropriate rights of access for contractors and other agents of Cornerstone for the purposes of providing electronic communications network(s) and/or providing an infrastructure system.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 the Council will consider any objections to the proposal which are received within 28 days of the date of first publication of this Notice and which are addressed to the Estates Team (by email to Estates@ oldham.gov.uk) or otherwise in writing to “Estates Team, Oldham Council Spindles Offices, West Street Oldham OL1 1LF” and in either case quoting ref: “POS - Land at Smallbrook Road, Shaw”.
A copy of the plan/s showing the extent of the Land is deposited at Reception, JR Clynes Building, Cultural Quarter, Greaves Street, Oldham OL1 1AL and may be viewed there during normal business hours.

Land at the north side of Smallbrook Road, Shaw, Oldham shown edged red on the plan deposited at Reception, JR Clynes Building and comprising approximately sixteen square metres.
