NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27(1) OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

DEE VALLEY WATER SECTION (“the Section”) of the WATER COMPANIES PENSION SCHEME (“the Scheme”)

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Trustee is winding up the Section. If you have already received a communication from the Trustee regarding this matter then you do not need to take any action as the Trustee already has details of your claims and entitlements.

Any person who has not been contacted by the Trustee regarding the wind up of the Section and believes that they have a claim against, or entitlement to a pension or any benefit from the Section (or any of the former schemes listed above) is hereby required to send particulars in writing by 1 December 2026 of their claim or entitlement (together with full name, present address and date of birth) to Trustee of the Water Companies Pension Scheme, c/o Lane Clark & Peacock LLP, St Paul’s House, St Paul’s Hill, Winchester, SO22 5AB marked for the attention of Rebecca Raeburn.

Any person who previously transferred their benefits from the Section to a new pension arrangement, and was a member of the Section between 17 May 1990 and 5 April 1997, may be entitled to an additional benefit following a high court ruling involving the Lloyds Banking Group pension schemes. If you believe you may be in this position, please contact the Trustee of the Scheme, at the address shown above, within two months of the date of this notice to provide your details (including your full name, present address and date of birth).

The Trustee will distribute the assets of the Section among the persons entitled thereto having regard only to those persons of whose claims and entitlements they have notice, and will not be liable to any other person.

Issued on behalf of the Trustee of the Scheme.
