CONFIRMATION OF BYELAWS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dorset Council intends, after the expiry of the period mentioned below, to apply to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care for confirmation of the Byelaws made by the Council in relation to Acupuncture, tattooing, semi-permanent skin-colouring, cosmetic piercing and electrolysis under Sections 14 to 17 of Part VIII of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 (with Section 15 as amended by Section 120 of the Local Government Act 2003).
Copies of the byelaws will be kept at the offices of the Council at the Reception Desk, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, DT1 1XJ and will be open to inspection without payment on any weekday during the usual office hours for one calendar month from the date of publication of this Notice.
Copies of the Byelaw or any part thereof will be supplied for a fee of 10p for each hundred words.
Any objection to the application for the confirmation of the byelaws may be made by letter (no later than one week after the close date for inspection) and addressed to: Laura Brewer Food, Safety and Port Health County Hall Colliton Park Dorchester DT1 1XJ
