Watford - Special School Expansion & Satellite Provision

Proposal to extend the age range of, and enlarge Colnbrook Special School, Watford, by 40 places through a satellite provision on the Woodhall Primary School site, Watford, for pupils with Severe Learning Difficulty (SLD) needs, during the academic year 2027/28.

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Colnbrook Special School, Hayling Road, Watford, WD19 7UY, a special school for children and young people aged 4 to 11. The proposal is for pupils up to and including age 16 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) on the satellite site of Woodhall Primary School, during the academic year 2027/28.

Hertfordshire County Council proposes to provide a 40-place satellite provision of Colnbrook Special School on the Woodhall Primary School site, Woodhall Lane, South Oxhey, Watford, WD19 6QX during the academic year 2027/28, for pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties and co-existing needs.
