DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER

11/25 FOOTPATH P30

The above Order made on 7 September 2026, if confirmed as made will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them a footpath described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge at reception at Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove BN3 3BQ, during normal office hours and online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/libraries-leisure-and-arts/parks-and-green-spaces/definitive-map-modification-order-applications-currently-registered

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to Rights of Way Officer at Stanmer Park Nursery, Stanmer Park Lewes Road Brighton BN1 9SE or by email to Cityparks@brighton-hove.gov.uk not later than 3 November 2026 and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order or if any so made are withdrawn, Brighton & Hove City Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State for confirmation may itself confirm the Order. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.

Description of footpath to be added

A footpath commencing at TQ262027 at the junction of Old Shoreham Road running for a total length of 966 metres terminating at TQ263058 at the junction of Hangleton Lane and A293.
