NOTICE OF INTENDED DISPOSAL OF LAND FORMING PART OF AN OPEN SPACE
Notice is hereby given that Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend after the expiry of the period mentioned below to dispose of certain land forming an open space, namely 0.42 acres of land at Saxons Lane Northwich, the land is intended to be sold on the open market for construction of an access road into a residential development site at Weaver Shipyard, Northwich.
The land proposed to be disposed of is shown edged /coloured red on a plan which will be available for inspection at Northwich Library, Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse, London Road, Northwich, CW9 8AB during normal office hours.
This is a formal notice given in so far as the above-described parcel of land consists or forms part of an open space for the purposes of section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972.
Any person wishing to object to the proposed disposal should submit their objections in writing to the Head of Legal Services and Council Companies, The Portal, Wellington Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BA no later than Friday 30 October 2026.
