Notice Of Intention To Apply For Confirmation For A Bye-Laws At Land At Loch Doon Camping Management

EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL, a local authority under and in terms of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994, as amended, and having their Headquarters at Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock, KA3 7BU, hereby propose a Byelaws at Loch Doon under and in terms of Sections 202-4 inclusive of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1973, as amended, and the Law Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, Section 12.

Copies of the proposed by byelaws are available for public inspection at the following Council Offices.
- East Ayrshire Council, Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock, KA3 7BU, open from 9:00am until 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am until 4:00pm on a Friday; and
- East Ayrshire Council, Rothesay House, 3 Greenholm Street, Cumnock, KA18 1LH, open from 9:00am until 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am until 4:00pm on a Friday. Rothesay House is closed each lunchtime from 12:30pm until 1:30pm.

Copies of the proposed byelaws can be made subject to a fee.

The consultation period will end on 17 December 2026.

All objections and the grounds of objection must be received, in writing, by no later than 17 December 2026 to the Environmental Health, East Ayrshire Council, London Road, Kilmarnock, KA3 7BU, or: environmentalhealth@east-ayrshire.gov.uk.

Thereafter, subject to Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 and Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, the byelaw may be authenticated by the Common Seal and come into effect.
