PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2026
The above Order made on 8 September 2026 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the full width of a section of Former Haltemprice Urban District Footpath No 4 commencing on Cliff Road at Grid Reference TA 0217 2538 and leading west-north-westerly around the southern side of the Country Park Inn for some 420 metres to Grid Reference TA 0179 2554 to a line some 436 metres in length commencing at Grid Reference TA 0217 2538 and leading north-westerly along the access road then through the car park then leading west-north-westerly along the track to Grid Reference TA 0179 2554, as shown on the Order map. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Beverley Customer Service Centre, Champney Treasure House, Champney Road, Beverley, HU17 8HE and Hessle Library & Customer Service Centre, Southgate, Hessle, HU13 0RB and can be viewed during normal opening hours, Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of Five pounds (£5.00). Any representations or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Interim Assistant Chief Executive Officer (Legal, Governance & Democratic Services), East Riding of Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Beverley, HU17 9BA so as to be received by him not later than 5pm on 13 October 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the order or if any so made are withdrawn, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order.
If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs any representations or objections which have been duly made and not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
