What is happening?

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27(1) OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
EXOLUM TERMINALS PENSION FUND (“the Fund”)

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Trustee is winding up the Exolum Terminals Pension Fund (formerly known as the Inter Terminals Pension Fund, the Simon Storage Pension Fund and the Immingham Storage Company Limited Pension & Life Assurance Scheme). If you have already received a communication from the Trustee regarding this matter then you do not need to take any action as the Trustee already has details of your claims and entitlements.

Any person who has not been contacted by the Trustee regarding the wind up of the Fund and believes that they have a claim against, or entitlement to a pension or any benefit from the Fund is hereby required to send particulars in writing by 4 November 2026 of their claim or entitlement (together with full name, present address and date of birth) to LCP Administration, St Paul’s House, St Paul’s Hill, Winchester, SO22 5AB marked for the attention of Exolum Terminals Administration Team.

Any person who previously transferred their benefits from the Fund to a new pension arrangement, and was a member of the Fund between 17 May 1990 and 5 April 1997, may be entitled to an additional benefit following a high court ruling involving the Lloyds Banking Group pension schemes. If you believe you may be in this position, please contact the Trustee of the Fund by 4 November 2026 to provide your details (including your full name, present address and date of birth).

The Trustee will proceed to complete the wind-up of the Fund and secure benefits for any remaining beneficiaries, having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have prior notice. The Trustee shall not be liable to any person whose claims and demands they have not had notice.
